Ann Fryer has been a white mom to black kids for 15 years ( has it been that long??!) and married to her handsome, Mark, for 22 years.

When she’s not homeschooling her three chickens (Fryer family, so…), she’s hacking out historical romance novels, reading cook books (really, so many books), slurping tea, and engaging in backyard archaeology (quite by accident.)

Ann and her family make their home in a small town near St. Louis where her husband has the privilege to work for the Jackie Joyner-Kersee Foundation in East St. Louis.
